New Delhi, July 28 -- Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned till 2 pm today after Opposition members created a ruckus demanding a discussion on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar and other issues.

As soon as the Lok Sabha reconvened at 1 PM, Opposition members rose from their seats, demanding a discussion on SIR. Some members also held placards bearing the message 'Stop SIR'.

Amid the commotion, Speaker Om Birla said, "I spoke with the leaders of all parties, and they all agreed that there should be a discussion on Operation Sindoor. I agreed, and the government agreed as well. Now, once again, I request you to allow a discussion on Operation Sindoor".
