Chennai, Dec. 7 -- In a major for the industrialisation of the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, the TN Rising Summit at Madurai today witnessed the singing of 91 MoUs for Rs 36,660 crore in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin, taking the total estimated investment flow into the state under the DMK government to Rs 11.38 lakh crore.
Addressing the conclave in Madurai, Stalin said the signing of 91 Memorandums of Understanding was a significant milestone in the government's initiative to push industrial growth in this region and for balanced growth.
