Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 8 -- Human rights activist Sabu Steephen has come out with a new book sharply criticising BJP leader and animal rights campaigner Maneka Gandhi, accusing her of perpetuating India's stray dog crisis through policies that he claims endanger human lives.
Titled "Human Sacrifices Before Goddess Maneka Gandhi", the book draws on Steephen's decade-long legal battle in the Supreme Court against what he describes as "the worst stray dog system in the world."He has appeared in the apex court both as a petitioner-in-person and through counsel during various hearings.
The English edition of the book has been released on Google Books, while the Malayalam version is available on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.
