Nagpur, Nov. 5 -- A bizarre and unsettling incident has shaken residents of Umred taluka near Nagpur,where the bones and ashes of two recently cremated individuals mysteriously vanished from a local cremation ground, police said today.
On, November 3, the final rites of 23-year-old Sakshi Patil of Balaji Nagar, Umred, who died of a heart attack, and 48-year-old Naresh Duryodhan Selote, a Parsodi resident who passed away due to illness on November 2, were conducted at a crematorium located near the national highway at Bhiwapur in Umred.
Relatives returned the following morning to collect the ashes and skeletal remains, only to find that both had inexplicably disappeared.
