Bommai slams Karnataka govt after HC rap
Bengaluru, May 29 -- Former Chief Minister and BJP Parliamentarian Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday slammed the Karnataka government for withdrawing the criminal case related to the attack on Hubballi police station, calling the move an affront to justice and the rule of law.
Speaking to the media at the BJP office, Bommai said the Karnataka High Court has firmly reprimanded the state government for its controversial decision, exposing the deep-rooted influence of political pressure and appeasement politics on law enforcement in the state.
