Mysuru, Nov. 24 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should not have reached a point where he has to assert that he will continue in office for five years. He described the moment as a clash between what he called "Rebellion Siddaramaiah" and "Compromise Siddaramaiah".
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, Bommai said the Siddaramaiah he had known for decades was uncompromising. "If he is the earlier rebellious Siddaramaiah, he will not give up power under any circumstances. But if he is a compromising Siddaramaiah, he will yield.
