Mumbai, Sept. 18 -- The Bombay High Court today issued notices to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and all seven accused acquitted in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, including former BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt. Col. Prasad Purohit.

For the third consecutive day, the High Court passed an order issuing notices returnable in six weeks, during the hearing of an appeal filed by family members of the deceased challenging the special NIA court's acquittal of the accused.

The petition, filed by six family members of the victims, came up for hearing before a division bench comprising Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad.
