Ch. Sambhajinagar, May 12 -- Reiterating that Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification is not mandatory for teachers serving in minority educational institutions, the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court has strongly criticised the functioning of Education Officers for repeatedly rejecting appointment approval proposals on the basis of non-clearance of TET despite earlier judicial directions.

The court warned that if such mistakes are repeated in future, the concerned officers would face strict action.
