New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Several schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday, causing panic among students, parents, and school authorities and prompting immediate intervention by security agencies, an official said.

In response to the threat, local police teams, accompanied by K9 units and bomb detection and disposal squads, were immediately rushed to the affected schools.

According to the email, "Delhi will become Khalistan. In memory of Afzal Guru. There will be an explosion at 1:11 pm."The email also threatened an attack on Parliament later this week, stating, "There will be a blast in Parliament on February 13 at 1:11 pm.
