Bhubaneswar, Jan. 8 -- An anonymous email warning of a bomb threat prompted Odisha Police to swing into action on Thursday, leading to the evacuation of three district courts-Cuttack, Sambalpur, and Deogarh-along with the Orissa High Court.
Police personnel, assisted by sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads, rushed to the court premises and launched intensive search operations. Advocates, court staff, and members of the public were asked to vacate the premises as a precautionary measure.
According to reports, search operations are still underway at the affected district courts and the High Court. The areas have been barricaded, and public movement has been restricted to ensure safety.
