Gurdaspur, Jan. 16 -- A bomb threat email allegedly targeting the District Commissioner (DC) office in Gurdaspur prompted immediate security action on Friday, though local police have clarified to UNI that there was no confirmed link to the terrorist group ISKP.
The email, sent to the official DC office account, claimed that three explosive devices had been planted within the district administrative complex. Following receipt of the message, security agencies swung into action. Under the guidance of SSP Aditya, the police deployed anti-sabotage teams and bomb disposal squads to the site. The entire administrative complex, including the DC office, was meticulously searched.
