Chandigarh, Dec. 26 -- Security agencies swung into action after the District Court complex in Sector 43 received a bomb threat via email, triggering an immediate evacuation and a large-scale security operation. The threat created panic in the area, prompting authorities to seal the entire court complex as a precautionary measure.
Soon after the alert, all court staff, lawyers, and visitors were safely moved out as entry to the premises was completely restricted. Both gates of the court complex were shut, while police personnel cordoned off the area from all sides.
Bomb disposal squads, senior police officers, and multiple security teams were rushed to the spot to conduct thorough checks.
