Bomb threat at Kerala Veterinary University turns out to be a hoax

Wayanad, Jan. 31 -- An email sent to the Vice Chancellor of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) stating that a bomb had been planted in the The University campus at Pookode in the district turned out to be a hoax.

Police declared the Bomb threat a hoax after Thunderbolt commandos of Kerala Police, bomb and dog squad carried out a thorough investigation and search operations on Friday but found no explosives or suspicious materials from the campus.

The e-mail was sent to Vice-Chancellor Anilkumar.S and the Registrar signed by Nivedhya Prithviraj.
