Shimla, July 23 -- Panic spread across Shimla in Himachal Pradesh today morning, after three private schools received alleged bomb threat emails, leading to immediate evacuations and a major security operation. The threats were later confirmed to be hoaxes, but the incident caused widespread concern among parents, students and local authorities. As soon as the three schools -- St. Edwards School Shimla, Sacred Heart School, Dhalli and Saraswati Paradise School, Sanjauli -- received the threatening messages, officials acted swiftly. Police teams with bomb disposal squads, were deployed to thoroughly search the campuses.
