Shimla, Jan. 9 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court was placed under heightened security on Thursday after a threatening email warning of a bomb blast was received on the court's official communication system in the morning.
The email claimed that the High Court building would be blown up using "3 RDX" explosives.
Immediately after the threat was detected, district police, CID officers, and other security personnel rushed to the High Court complex and launched a joint search and sanitisation operation. Entry and exit points were closely monitored while specialised teams carried out a thorough inspection of courtrooms, offices, corridors, and adjoining areas.
