Bokaro, Oct. 9 -- A contract worker injured in the recent industrial accident at Bokaro Steel Plant, a unit of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), succumbed to his burn injuries during treatment at Bokaro General Hospital, bringing the death toll to two.
According to BSL's Chief of Communications, Manikant Dhan, the deceased, Om Prakash Mohli, had sustained critical burn injuries in the September 28 accident at the plant's Steel Melting Shop-2.
Despite all possible medical efforts, he could not be saved. "The Bokaro Steel family is deeply saddened by the unfortunate demise of the worker and stands in solidarity with the bereaved family," Dhan said.
