New Delhi, March 7 -- Advocate Ajay Aggarwal, who has been actively involved in the Supreme Court proceedings regarding the Bofors scandal, disclosed on Friday that he had an engaging conversation over WhatsApp with private investigator Michael Hershman.

According to Aggarwal, Hershman is willing to meet and share new evidence that could provide crucial insights into the long-standing corruption case.

The Bofors case, which surfaced in the 1980s, revolves around allegations of a Rs 64-crore bribe linked to a Rs 1,437-crore defence contract between India and the Swedish arms manufacturer Bofors AB for the procurement of 410 numbers of 155mm howitzer field guns.
