Buenos Aires, Sept. 22 -- Central Cordoba came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 away draw with Boca Juniors in Argentina's Primera Division.
Rodrigo Battaglia opened the scoring just before halftime with a close-range header and Miguel Merentiel doubled the hosts' lead with a first-time finish in the 56th minute on Sunday.
Jose Florentin pulled a goal back with a header from point-blank range and Ivan Gomez equalized by thumping a shot into the top-right corner.
The result leaves Boca third in the 15-team Group A, ahead of fourth-placed Central Cordoba on goal difference.
