Buenos Aires, Oct. 6 -- Boca Juniors climbed to the top of Argentina's Primera Division Group A standings with a 5-0 home victory over Newell's Old Boys.

Milton Jimenez struck two early goals before Ayrton Costa added a third just after the hour at La Bombonera on Sunday.

Brian Aguirre and Lautaro Blanco completed the rout as Boca strolled to its fourth win of the campaign.

"We have been playing well despite the fact we haven't always got the results we've wanted," Gimenez said after the match.
