Mumbai, March 24 -- Amid the uproar over Shiv Sena (Shinde) workers' vandalism at a Mumbai studio to protest comedian Kunal Kamra's remarks against party chief Eknath Shinde, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday demolished a portion of the studio citing rule violation.
This comes after comedian Kamra's remarks against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during a stand-up act, referring to him as a 'traitor' while referencing the song 'Dil To Pagal Hai.'
A viral video of his remarks angered Shiv Sena (Shinde) supporters. In retaliation, party workers stormed and vandalised the Habitat Studio.
