Shahdol (MP), Nov. 25 -- A Block Level Officer (BLO) died of cardiac arrest in Shahdol district while carrying out survey work, officials said.
The deceased, Maniram Napit, a teacher by profession, was assigned to Booth No. 212 in the Jaisinghnagar Assembly constituency. On Monday evening, while carrying out survey work, he reportedly felt unwell while speaking to an officer over the phone. He informed his son and returned home with him.
The family arranged a jeep to take him to Shahdol Medical College Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
