Betul (MP), Sept. 14 -- Visually-challenged Durga Yevle, who hails from the small village of Raksi Ke Goulidana in this district's Bhainsdehi tehsil, has proved that passion and diligence can help achieve any goal.
She will be representing the nation as part of the women's blind cricket team in the first T-20 World Cup.
Born on February 1, 2003, Durga's primary education took place at the government school in her village.
Under the guidance of teacher Natthu Wudkale and her father Jhabbu Yevle she reached a girls' hostel here. Her ninth and tenth standard were completed from the Padhar Blind School after which she was admitted to the Mahesh Visually-impaired Welfare Association's students' hostel in Indore.
