Bhopal, Nov. 10 -- A massive fire broke out at the timber market in the Railway Station area here but providentially there were no casualties.

The blaze erupted last evening and the tongues of flame and smoke could be seen from afar.

More than 40 vehicles of the Municipal Corporation and the fire brigade reached the place. Personnel brought the inferno under control after about three hours.

Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, police and Corporation officers were present. Congress legislator Arif Masood also arrived at the spot and gathered details.
