Chandigarh, July 16 -- Tensions erupted in Ludhiana after a group involved in a property dispute smeared black ink on the signboard of the district Congress office located near Ghanta Ghar, following a favourable court ruling. The group reportedly broke the office locks and removed the belongings from inside the premises.
Upon receiving information, senior Congress leaders, including district president and former MLA Sanjay Talwar and Youth Congress president Happy rushed to the spot and confronted those involved. A heated argument ensued between the two sides. The police were informed, and SHO Rajinder from Division No. 1 Police Station has summoned both parties to the station for discussion.
