BJP workers deliver relief material to disaster-hit families in Chamba

Chamba, Sept. 11 -- Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have taken the initiative to deliver relief material to families affected by the recent natural disaster in Chamba district.

State BJP President Dr.Rajiv Bindal, along with Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, reached Chamba after dispatching five trucks of relief material from Nurpur.

The leaders first visited Bhatiyat Assembly Constituency where they took stock of the damage, met the affected families, and distributed relief material. They later proceeded to Dalhousie Assembly Constituency, where they inspected damaged houses and areas where land had been washed away or was sinking, rendering them unfit for rebuilding.
