Kolkata, Aug. 29 -- A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker today lodged a police complaint against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra for her controversial remarks against union Home Minister Amit Shah, sparking a major political row.
The complaint was filed at Kotwali police station in Nadia district by BJP worker Sandeep Majumdar, who alleged that the Krishnanagar MP's comments amounted to giving an "anti-national" speech.
"She said that Amit Shah should be beheaded and his head must be kept on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's table for failing to stop infiltration.
