Srinagar, July 7 -- BJP's J&K general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul today warned the Jammu and Kashmir government that if it fails to address pressing public issues his party will not hesitate in taking to the streets.
Koul said the role of the opposition is to hold the government accountable.
"We gave the new J&K government time. It hasn't been long since it took office, so we didn't rush into protests or strikes. But now, more than nine months have passed," Koul told reporters here.
He asserted that the BJP is ready to step up its political activity.
"If things don't improve, the BJP will take to the streets. We will protest, hold rallies, and demonstrate to press for our demands. This is our firm stance," Koul said....
