Tehatta, April 26 -- Delivering an aggressive, election-season pitch in Nadia's Tehatta, a bordering assembly constituency with Bangladesh, union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday asserted that the BJP would "remove infiltrators from Bengal's soil" and dismantle the alleged syndicate network if voted to power.
Addressing a rain-hit rally marked by charged slogans and repeated audience engagement, Shah claimed that the ruling Trinamul Congress had already been "wiped out" in the first phase of polling on April 23.
