Satara, March 6 -- Former Maharashtra chief minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan on Wednesday took an aim at Bhartiya Janata Party's (BJP) electoral slogan of '370 Par MPs', expressing fear that it wanted to amend the country's Constitution.

Addressing a press conference at party's district office here this afternoon, he claimed that by giving such a slogan, BJP was working to end democracy in the country and eliminate the opposition parties in Maharashtra.

He further claimed that since BJP is not sure of victory in upcoming Lok Sabha elections, they are engaging in breaking other political parties.
