Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 1 -- With an aim to woo voters, Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that if the BJP-led NDA comes to power in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, the party plans to develop the state capital as a potential venue for the 2036 Olympics.

Highlighting key development proposals from the party's election manifesto, Chandrasekhar said, "If the BJP-led NDA forms the administration in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will personally visit the city within 45 days of taking office to announce a comprehensive development master plan."The manifesto pledges to free the city from what the BJP describes as 45 years of "corrupt and arrogant" Left rule.
