Patna, April 14 -- Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Monday alleged that the BJP was trying to weaken the constitution prepared by Bheem Rao Ambedkar, giving rights to the backwards, oppressed and deprived.
Yadav, also the leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, while addressing a function organised on the birth anniversary of Ambedkar, said that the BJP had nothing to do with the principles and ideology of Ambedkar. Only due to political compulsion, the BJP was unwillingly celebrating the birth anniversary of Ambedkar, he alleged.
