New Delhi, Jan. 26 -- The Congress on Sunday accused the BJP of "disturbing public tranquility" ahead of the Delhi elections by allegedly "spreading communalism and putting the social fabric at stake".
Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters here, senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, "At the time of elections in Delhi, BJP is airing a hate film and is bent on getting votes by dividing the society".
Singhvi alleged that the BJP is airing a communally motivated film that intended to incite, divide, and mislead voters. Noting that such "actions do not suit a so-called 'national party' like the BJP".
