New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- The suspense over the new Chief Minister of Delhi is likely to end today as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scheduled to hold a legislative meeting here on Wednesday.

The names of several newly elected MLAs are doing the rounds for the posts of chief minister, however Rekha Gupta, Parvesh Verma, and Vijender Gupta are considered the frontrunners for the Chief Minister post.

In the recently concluded assembly elections, the BJP secured 48 out of 70 seats, while the outgoing Aam Aadmi Party managed to win 22 seats. Meanwhile, for the third consecutive time, Congress failed to secure a single seat.

Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are underway, overseen by BJP leaders Tarun Chugh and Vinod Tawde.
