Hyderabad, July 21 -- BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao on Monday came down heavily on the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of misleading the public on the issue of 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in local body elections and playing political games for electoral gain.

Speaking at a press conference at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi during his first visit to the capital after taking charge, Rao said he was seeking blessings and guidance from the party's central leadership to strengthen the BJP in the state.
