Chandigarh, Aug. 21 -- In a bold move, Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Sunil Jakhar today issued a direct challenge to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, announcing that the BJP will re-establish a welfare camp for the underprivileged on August 22 in Raipur village under Fazilka district.
The decision comes after the state police detained BJP leaders attempting to organise a similar camp at the same location. Jakhar declared that he will personally oversee the setup of the camp.
