Hyderabad, July 31 -- Telangana BJP state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy on Thursday accused the Congress government in Telangana of spreading false propaganda over urea shortage to divert attention from its unfulfilled promises.

Addressing the media at the party's state office, he said that under the Narendra Modi government, there has been no fertilizer shortage in the country, and Telangana has received adequate urea for the ongoing Kharif season. Of the 6.14 lakh metric tonnes required, 6.12 lakh metric tonnes have already been dispatched, with 1.76 lakh metric tonnes in stock and 19,600 metric tonnes in transit.
