Dharamshala, April 15 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP spokesperson Rakesh Sharma on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Sukhu government, alleging widespread corruption, deteriorating law and order, and anti-people economic policies.

In a statement issued from Dharamshala, Sharma claimed that the state is witnessing a serious and alarming situation, with law and order "completely collapsed."He accused the government of patronizing criminals, land mafia, drug networks, and mining mafias, while also burdening the public with rising inflation and increased taxes.

Referring to the recent brutal murder of a 19-year-old college student in Sarkaghat, Sharma said the incident has triggered widespread public anger against the government.
