Bengaluru, May 27 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of misusing state machinery to silence opposition voices through criminal defamation cases, police action, and legislative suspensions. Addressing a press conference in the state capital, Vijayendra said the ruling Congress was "rattled" by the BJP's sustained protests against its "anti-people" policies and was now resorting to intimidation to stifle dissent.
