Bengaluru, Sept. 9 -- Former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and BJP MLA CN Ashwath Narayan today launched a scathing attack on Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, alleging that the party prioritises its own interests over the welfare of farmers and citizens.

The remarks came in the wake of reports that Kharge had seemingly rebuked a farmer who approached him to complain about crop losses.
