Ranchi, March 6 -- BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo on Friday criticised the Jharkhand government over the proposed construction of the Chief Minister's residence, alleging that nearly Rs 100 crore is being spent on the project.
Addressing a press conference, Shah Deo said it was unfortunate that a government which claims to represent poor, tribal and local communities is planning an expensive residence for the Chief Minister.
He alleged that the proposed complex includes facilities such as a swimming pool, jacuzzi, luxury rooms, a fountain costing around Rs 2 crore and a garden estimated at about Rs 2.5 crore.
