Shimla, Oct. 10 -- BJP state president Dr Rajiv Bindal has accused the Congress government of taking a systematic, anti-people decision by postponing the panchayat elections.
"The Congress party knows that if panchayat elections are held, they will not be able to win and every pradhan of that party woud face a crushing defeat," said Bindal.
In a statement today, he said the Congress talks about saving democracy, but in reality, it is working to harm the biggest festival of democracy: voting. This clearly means that the Congress is opposed to democracy.
