New Delhi, July 25 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today took strong exception to Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi's "absurd allegations" against the Election Commission over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, accusing them of reflecting a mindset that evaluates constitutional bodies based on their election victories.
In a press briefing here, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi lambasted the Congress, asserting that its current leadership still harbors the same authoritarian tendencies as the time when former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed the Emergency.
