Bengaluru, May 30 -- Senior BJP leader Dr CN Ashwath Narayan on Friday condemned the Congress-led Karnataka government over its alleged "gross negligence" in healthcare, highlighting a tragic incident where postpartum women lost their lives after being allegedly administered contaminated IV fluids in government hospitals.
Addressing the media, Dr Ashwath Narayan said the shocking deaths of these vulnerable new mothers reveal the deep failure of the state government and its Health Minister in ensuring basic healthcare services.
