Mysuru, Oct. 11 -- Karnataka BJP today slammed the state government over the rape and murder of a 9-year-old balloon-seller girl in Mysuru, alleging a complete breakdown of law and order.
Speaking at a press conference, Opposition Leader in the Assembly R. Ashoka said, "Even during the Dusshera celebrations in Mysuru, the police were unable to prevent the rape of a girl. Law and order in the state have completely deteriorated."Ashoka described the incident as a major tragedy, highlighting that the girl belonged to a family of balloon sellers.
