Thiruvananthapurm, July 5 -- Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar made a scathing attack on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for traveling to the United States for medical check-ups and said that this move of the chief minister has exposed the hollowness of the much-touted "Kerala Model" of governance.
He also stated that when the Chief Minister faces health issues he prefers to get treatment abroad, while ordinary citizens are left to suffer as they have to rely on government hospitals which are underfunded.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is set to leave for the United States of America today for follow-up medical check-ups. The Chief Minister's Office stated that the examinations and treatment would take up to 10 days to complete. ...
