Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- BJP state president and MLA Vijayendra Yediyurappa today demanded that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the recent allegations against the revered Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala submit an interim report without delay. He also called for a thorough investigation into the identity and background of a mysterious masked man linked to the controversy. Raising the matter during the proceedings of the Karnataka Assembly, Vijayendra said Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala was not only a prominent centre of religious faith for millions of Hindus but also a symbol of cultural heritage.
