Ranchi, April 16 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday demanded a CBI probe into the alleged paper leak in the excise constable recruitment examination in Jharkhand and other disputed exams conducted over the past three years.

Addressing a press conference, BJP chief whip in the state Assembly Naveen Jaiswal said the April 12 examination was not an isolated case and alleged irregularities in multiple recruitment tests conducted under the present state government.

Jaiswal urged the chief minister to recommend a CBI inquiry into the matter, stating that such a step would ensure a fair investigation and restore confidence among candidates.
