Bengaluru, July 30 -- Karnataka BJP State President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today claimed that the ruling Congress in Karnataka is facing a "vertical split" over the issue of changing the Chief Minister, predicting a "Diwali dhamaka" in state politics later this year.
Vijayendra alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is losing the trust of Congress legislators, many of whom are reportedly unhappy with the pace of development and feel sidelined in key decisions.
"Most MLAs are upset with Siddaramaiah and are expressing their discontent openly," he told reporters.
