Kottayam, Aug. 24 -- Kerala BJP Vice President Adv. Shone George today launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing it of adopting an "anti-Christian stance" by opposing the Centre's decision to extend Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) reservation benefits to Christian students in medical and dental courses.

George alleged that the Congress had been "completely swallowed by religious fundamentalist and extremist organisations" and claimed its opposition to the EWS quota was proof of this.
