New Delhi, March 22 -- : Satya Sharma, chairperson of the Standing Committee, on Sunday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of indulging in "unnecessary politics" even on serious public issues amid a political row over alleged irregularities near Old Delhi Railway Station.
Addressing a press briefing, Sharma alleged that AAP's Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bhardwaj was attempting to give a political colour to a matter concerning public safety.
She said that raising concerns over "suspicious and illegal activities" in the parking area outside Old Delhi Railway Station was part of her administrative responsibility and should not be politicised.
